Corona Rings

High voltage can result in unwanted noise (RIV) and corona. To minimize the effects of corona, corona rings are applied to one or both ends of the insulator(attached onto the end fittings), typically at 220kV system and above, meanwhile, some applications may require rings at lower system voltages when additional protection is required; high contamination, high altitude, or applications with tight phase-to-phase or phase-to-ground spacing.
Our corona rings are designed around the needs of the end user and made by aluminum alloy; they are easy to install and removed.
There are six types of corona rings for option: R160, R250. R305(Fig .1 ), R350, R370, R450(Fig.2).
